The Kingman County Sheriff's Office will participate in a prescription drug "take-back" event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at the Law Enforcement Center in Kingman.
This is for expired/unused/unwanted pills or patches - no needles, sharps or liquids will be accepted. The event is free and anonymous.
Medicines that linger in home cabinets are susceptible to misuse and abuse. Studies show that a majority of abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends. Flushing or throwing out medicines is not safe and may create health hazards.
