A household hazardous waste disposal day and extended recycle center hours will promote spring cleaning April 18-22.Hazardous waste will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 18 at the Activity Center, 121 S. Main in Kingman. This is for households only - no commercial. Click on "additional info" to see a list of accepted items.The Kingman County Recycle Center will be open extra hours April 18-22 to coincide with the City of Kingman's spring clean-up. The center is at 337 N. Marquette St. and will be open 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 18, 20 and 22; 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 19, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 21. A complete list of accepted items is on the center's page on the website (Go to "Government," then "Recycle Center"). Free e-waste also will be accepted during this week only.Free recycle bags will be distributed at White's Foodliner in Kingman from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 22 in honor of Earth Day.
