Responsibilities
The County Treasurer is an elected official. Responsibilities include tax billing, collection and distribution of local tax money for the State, County, Cities, Schools and other taxing entities within the County that levy Ad Valorem and/or special assessment taxes.
This also includes managing all other monies belonging to the County and/or directed by law to be paid to the Treasurer. In addition, the Treasurer serves as an agent for the State Department of Revenue/Division of Vehicles regarding the administration of the State Motor Vehicle Title and Registration laws.
Now Accepting Credit Cards
In addition to accepting cash, personal check or money order, the Kingman County Treasurer also accepts major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover). A convenience fee will be charged by the credit card processing center (the County does not retain any portion of this fee). Every measure of safety and reliability has been implemented to this transaction process.
Make a Payment
Payments may be made by check or money order and may be placed in our drop box, which is located on the north side of the Kingman County Courthouse steps or mailed to this office.
